Menace 2 Mentor is a program designed to address the causes of youth involvement in gang and illegal activity. Our program utilizes reformed individuals that have engaged in gang activity and have overcome the same obstacles that face our youth today. By utilizing past experiences and reality therapy our program possesses the passion to identify with the issues in which our community, schools, families face on a daily basis. We strive to ensure safety for our youth/community to become successful and productive in all aspects of life.

My purpose is to educate and inform youth and communities regarding the truth about gang life. We as a people have turned our backs from the true purpose and reasons that gangs exist. This was a choice that one would make to create unity. The original cause is very important to the community, family, and future. Which by being such you would be MORE of a black activist and not vigilante but remembering the roots of this cause which began from BLACK PANTHERS and based around equal rights and building communities and families. The goal was never against each other but to make a way for those who follow and love you. I'm not here to tell youth to join but know the TRUTH and not what media, movies, and others want you to believe to be the truth. We all come from the same beginings and are BROTHERS in the struggle that is for our future not our END!! Just as these flags lay we can all come together and stand beside one another and NOT laying beside in the end!!
Much Love and Respect!! ~~~Richard "Monk" Henry
